Dbhistoricalĭbhistorical is similar to dbmarket based on the prices on a single realm. This makes it great for cases wher eyou want to compare prices across realms or where you want a stable anchor for your price source. It is quite stable as it is based on prices on a lot of different realms so changes happen slowly and will only be based on long term trends. It is simply computed by summing up dbmarket for every realm and dviding by the number of realms. Region market average is the average dbmarket value across all the realms of a region. It is based only on prices on your realm. The TSM team does a pretty good job showing the concepts here, so do check that out. It will ignore both very high and very low prices.Ī weighted average means that the price yesterday will have a larger impact than the price 7 days ago which will have a larger impact than the price 14 days ago. It is not based on the cheapest price, but on a measure of the prce that is roughly around the 15th percentile. Dbmarketĭbmarket or the market value is based on a weighted average of the price over the last 14 days.

Choosing between dbmarket, dbregionmarketavg and dbhistorical can be confusing. No clue what is happening but figured I'd share in case others are having the same issue.I wrote about the value sources in TSM in my guide, but today I want to take a more specific look at the market value based price sources and when to use them. Demoted back to initiate and no errors (so far). Tried to promote back to member and the error started occurring again. I gave the initiate rank all the same permissions as the member rank, no error. So I demoted one to 'initiate' rank, error stopped.

All my characters were set as 'member' and had full bank permissions (remove/add, repair, money). I decided to play around with ranks and permissions and I have a temp fix for my problem but it still doesn't solve it. When ignored this error would reoccur every 15-20 seconds.
I have two accounts and it is the same for both. It also doesn't impact my non-alt guild characters at all (e.g. I have been having issues with my characters in my alt guild where I get an error saying 'TradeSkillMaster has been blocked from an action only available to the Blizzard UI.' This isn't for all my characters, only some, and they are all at the same rank in the guild.
